-
Go through and complete popular challenges: These are great for teaching you all about game systems! It’s in the upper right corner next to your minimap, and while following in sequence isn’t the most efficient way to use resources early in the game, it’s a great way to get to grips with all the ins and outs of the game. It’s better to know how things work sooner rather than later scratch your head.
-
do whatever you want: In our guide on how to level up quickly, we mentioned that if you want to get to the max level and get to the end game content as quickly as possible, then focusing on story missions and skipping side missions is the way to go. While this is true, players who wish to stay in the game for a while will return to the old areas and complete side quests. So level it the way you like it. The Lost Ark isn’t going anywhere!
-
You can move the minimap: If you press tab, you can bring up a transparent map of your current area. However, what you may not know is that by holding down the middle mouse button on this map, you can move it around the screen to your liking. We recommend that you be at the bottom left of the screen so your character’s view is not covered.
-
Activate every Triport you come across: You do a lot of fast travel when you cross the Lost Ark. So make sure you hit any Triport you come across. This will save you a lot of time as you level up the game, and is a habit you must develop early on.
-
leave them lizards: Random monsters you find in the wild aren’t worth much in terms of experience buffs. So, skip random packs you come across in the open world unless they’re marked on your minimap or part of a quest you’re doing.
-
How to use your skill points: You should focus on putting your points on two or three abilities to get them to level 10 and all tripods for each ability. Instead of putting points anywhere, focus on your favorite skills. Don’t worry about the long-term harm of investing in the wrong place! that is because…
-
Skill reset: You can reset your skill point allocation at any time. So don’t worry too much about where you put your skill points. It’s not a huge commitment, so feel free to try it out during the game!
-
Try to save precious health potions and combat items: One of the most valuable advice in the long run is to not use any instant HP restoration potions or combat items early in the game. These are priceless and expensive items, and while you get a lot early on, they get rarer as you go on. So save them as much as possible!
