Alan Wake Remastered is perfecting all the elements that make supernatural thrillers a cult favorite. Nevertheless, one thing that will not come back is its product placement in the real world. The game is notorious for displaying billboard advertisements by companies such as Verizon, while players use Energizer batteries to supplement Allen’s flashlights and other forms of branding. This will never happen again.
Screen roar Remedy was contacted, who confirmed that fictional brands are replacing real-world brands. The reason is that the license has expired. The original game was launched in 2010, so it has been a while. However, Remedy also confirmed that the songs and TV shows remain unchanged.
Regardless of whether the truck is talking about Ford or Furd, Alan Wake Remastered will be released on October 5. The package includes a modernized version of the original game and two expansion packages, namely Signal and Writer. In 4K resolution, the bizarre presentation of the title and the light-focused gameplay are more dazzling, and Allen’s character model has also been updated. For super fans, the game even includes comments from creative director Sam Lake. You can watch the first shot of the game here.
You can play Alan Wake Remastered as an exclusive Epic Store on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (due to Epic’s release of a remastered version).
