Alan Wake Remastered PC-Specifications, graphics settings, etc.

Remedy Entertainment provided information on what we can get from the PC version Allen Awakening Remake.

According to the developer, the PC version has a variety of performance modes, ultra-widescreen support, and has a variety of graphics settings and advanced options.

It only supports x64 architecture and DX12, does not have ray tracing capabilities, and supports DLSS modes, such as Ultra-Performance, Performance, Balanced and Quality. DLSS can also be turned off.

It has ultra-wide screen support with a 21:9 aspect ratio, but the pre-rendered cinematics will be rendered in 16:9. Like the first game, it has an unlocked frame rate, and supports full screen, window, and borderless display.

  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD 5600XT. 6GB video memory
  • Memory: 16GB
  • Operating system: Win 10 64 bit

The original Alan Wake was released as an Xbox 360 exclusive in 2010, and then ported to PC in 2012. The remake comes with the base game and two expansion packs, Signal and Writer, and will be released on October 5th.
