The game, formerly simply known as Aliens: Fireteam, will be rebranded to Aliens: Fireteam Elite and will be available in August. I first learned about the game in March, and as the title suggests, it’s the collaborative bug hunt that draws a lot of inspiration from the action with Xenomorph. alien..
On August 24, you and up to two other friends (or AI teammates) wore suits as Marines with the largest hunter in the universe in a new adventure set 23 years after the original movie trilogy. You can fight. The story unfolds in four separate campaigns, each with three missions. As with games like Left 4 Dead, dodge the waves of Xenomorphs and each player will take one of five specialized classes (gunner, demolition, reconnaissance, technician, documentation). The Marines can be further customized with a variety of weapon benefits and cosmetics. Creating the right combination of skills and classes is essential to successfully fighting the Fireteam Elite’s 11 Xenomorph types and a total of 20 enemies. Check out the new gameplay trailer below.
Developer Cold Iron Studios designed the Fireteam Elite with playability in mind, but it’s not a live service game. Rather, players can use a variety of modifier cards to dramatically change the rules of engagement, such as allowing only headshots to damage enemies. Playing under these special conditions will give you a big reward when you complete it and give you a reason to play the hive repeatedly while keeping the action fresh.
Aliens: Fireteam Elite will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X / S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
If you like to slaughter enemy waves with some good companions, there are quite a few games to watch. Note the new Vampire action game Redfall and PvE-focused Rainbow Six Extraction by Back 4 Blood, the spiritual successor to Left 4 Dead, and Arkane Studios.
