Animal Crossing: New Horizons updated to version 2.0.5 with several fixes

Nintendo has released a new update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, bringing the wildly popular game to version 2.0.5. This latest update fixes a lot of issues, including fixes to the main game and updated additional Happy Homeland downloadable content, so you’ll no longer have to constantly listen to Luna repeat her Dream Suite explanations multiple times. Here are all the fixes released in Animal Crossing: New Horizons version 2.0.5.

Fixed issues

  • Fixed an issue that prevented players from explaining Photopia under certain conditions after moving to another island.
  • Fixed an issue where the game wouldn’t progress after a message was displayed after a conversation started and a large number of furniture items were placed on the island.
  • Fixed an issue where Luna would repeat the instructions for “Search by Island Name”. Reselect.
  • Fixed an issue where islanders wearing custom designs had different pattern types than custom designs displayed in the Tailor Shop.
  • Fixed an issue where island dwellers visiting the player’s home would remain in the player’s home after the player used the Room Sketch app, the Happy Home Network app, or the Custom Design Portal during the visit.
  • Fixed an issue where players would use door trims when remodeling an islander’s house, but the door trim would sometimes be removed at the start of a new day.
  • Additional tweaks and corrections have been made to improve the gaming experience.

The following issues related to the paid DLC Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Happy Homes have been fixed.

  • Fixed an issue where players would not get past the loading screen when trying to revisit the vacation home if they had previously placed an ant or fly in the vacation home’s yard and the conditions for the ant or fly to appear were not met.
  • Fixed an issue where subsequent events would not work properly if the player closed the software at a certain point while working on the facility.
  • Additional tweaks and corrections have been made to improve the gaming experience.
