The Call of Duty series covers multiple theaters and usually chooses to tell fictional stories in historical conflict networks (for example, World of War, Black Ops, the first few games in the entire series, etc.).We play the role of soldiers on the front lines, and sometimes these player roles become the mainstay —— Price/Captain Roach in Infinity Ward’s original modern warfare trilogy and Mason/Woods in Treyarch’s Black Ops series. Call of Duty: Pioneer is the latest work in the long-running CoD world, and its author hopes that the game’s characters will become the mainstay. Pioneer may eventually become the first game in another Call of Duty trilogy.
At the New York Comic Con, the writers of Vanguard talked about the future they envisioned for the protagonist of the game:
“We entered this process by saying’how do we make iconic CoD characters’ because we are not really doing this in Call of Duty now,” said Sam Maggs, author of Sledgehammer Games. “Our idea is,’Who can be our flagship CoD character” because we want to make Vanguard 2 and Vanguard 3. We have two more stories we want to tell with these characters, so we hope that if people love as much as we do They, we will continue to tell the stories of these people and make them puppets in this CoD era.” You can listen to Maggs and other members of the writing team talking about this in the above video for about 43 minutes.
Call of Duty: The Battle of Vanguard follows the Elite Task Force —— Sergeant Arthur Kingsley, Lieutenant Paulina Petrova, Private Lucas Riggs, First Lieutenant Wade Jackson —— They ventured deep into Nazi Germany and put the empire’s mysterious Phoenix project into trouble.
“Call of Duty: Pioneer” will be released on November 5th and is available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
