Call of Duty: The Digital Event in War Zone is now live, and this is how it works
Call of Duty Warzone’s new limited-time Numbers event reviews the story of the original Black Ops with new points of interest and rewards, starting today and continuing until October 6. Players can make progress in the event by playing Warzone or Call. Responsibilities: Black Ops-Cold War.
Nine listening stations have been added to Warzone’s Verdansk map. Players can activate these listening stations by approaching them and experiencing the illusion of numbers flashing in your field of vision. They are big trucks with huge antennas that can play creepy Manchurian candidate-style digital strings. Activating each listening station will win you in-game cash and various rewards; mainly amulets, calling cards and a new watch.
Check out the clip below to see what monitoring stations are in operation.
The digital event is clearly a callback to the “Call of Duty: Black Ops” story, in which Mason (the protagonist) was brainwashed by prisoner of war Victor Rezenov with one of these number codes. Rezenov died while fleeing the Gulag, but his manipulation ensured that Mason could avenge the traitors who used nerve gas against Rezenov’s men.
The Numbers event also added a new sai melee weapon as the ultimate reward for completing all nine challenges in Warzone or Cold War. There is also a new reactive skin that colors Adler’s clothing with flashing red numbers that match the event.
The event ended at 9 p.m. Pacific Time Cold War Time on October 5th, and the theater time ended at 9 p.m. Pacific Time on October 6th.You can read the full patch notes here. At the same time, look at everything we know New map of the theater.
