Capcom Fighting Collection bundles 10 classic games, including tons of Dark Stalkers
Not to be overtaken by the Street Fighter 6 reveal, Capcom also announced a new series to celebrate its 35th anniversary of the fighting game. Aptly called the Capcom Fighting Collection, it bundles 10 games from the company’s most popular (and niche) franchises, including Street Fighter, Dark Stalker, and more.
For Darkstalkers fans, the collection includes all five major games in the series, including Japan-exclusive Vampire Hunter 2: Darkstalkers’ Revenge and Vampire Savior 2: The Lord. Another deep entry point for fighting game fans is the first home console version of the 1996 arcade game Red Earth with Cyberbots: Full Metal Madness (for fans of Marvel vs Capcom 2, this is Jin from game). Of course, Street Fighter II and Puzzle Fighter have quite a few.
Here is the full list of games:
- Darkstalkers: Warriors of the Night
- Night Warrior: Revenge of the Dark Stalker
- Vampire Savior: King of Vampires
- Vampire Hunter 2: Dark Stalker’s Revenge
- Vampire Savior 2: King of the Vampires
- laterite
- Super Street Fighter II: Anniversary Edition
- Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo
- Super Jewel Warrior Mini Combo
- Cyberbots: Full Metal Madness
The Capcom Fighting Collection features enhanced gameplay and balance tweaks, mid-game saves, and the best online play of all games. The series even includes rolling back network code to provide a stable online experience. In addition to Super Puzzle Fighter II, each game has a training mode. If you’d rather watch people on the sidelines, there are Spectator Mode and Museum Mode, which includes over 500 pieces of concept art, design documents, and over 400 music tracks for your listening pleasure.
The Capcom Fighting Collection launches June 24 via Steam for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC for $59.99.
