Capcom Platinum Sales Update (November 2, 2021)

Capcom has provided further sales updates for its series of high-profile video games, including the Resident Evil series and the Monster Hunter series. The “Monster Hunter” series has sold a staggering 78 million units since its launch, but it turns out that the Resident Evil series is Capcom’s bestseller. Since the PS One debut, the series has sold 120 million units. Below is the latest sales data for some of Capcom’s major franchises as of November 2, 2021.

  • Monster Hunter – 78M (+3M)
  • Reverse referee – 8.6M (+400K)
  • Onimusha – 8.5M (+100K)
  • Resident Evil – 120M (+3M)
  • Street Fighter – 47M (+1M)
  • Ghost’n Goblins – 4.4M (+100K)
