Capcom will have ‘many different ways’ to celebrate Street Fighter’s 35th anniversary in 2022

Can you believe that nearly 35 years have passed since Street Fighter debuted as a multiplayer arcade fighting game in August 1987? L Dragon Fist! The series is popular for revolutionizing the 1v1 genre, featuring fun and unique characters, and casual and competitive gameplay.

Street Fighter developer and major publisher Capcom shared a brand new logo for the 35th anniversary, and they seem to have more plans to announce throughout the year.in an interview 4Gamer (translated by event center), said Shuhei Matsumoto, producer of Street Fighter V; “We’ll have a lot of information in 2022. Street Fighter is celebrating its 35th anniversary, and we’ll be showing many different ways to enjoy it.”

Back in 2018, the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection was released on Nintendo Switch, but it remains to be seen if another similar bundle will be released as part of this year’s festivities.Fans have been clamoring for Street Fighter VI, and with final introduction Street Fighter V aired last November with the news; “We’ll be back with more news about the future of Street Fighter,” and there’s no doubt that 2022 will be the perfect time to finally reveal the anticipated sequel.
