Days Gone’s new PC patch brings welcome changes.
On Tuesday, Bend Studio released a small new update for Days Gone On a PC. Most of the game’s PC ports are popular, but this week’s 1.02 patch makes one important tweak.
If you’ve used Days Gone on your PC, you’ve definitely felt how clunky mouse controls are in-game. Of course, some of them are intentional. Many of the movements and character actions rely on long-drawn animations. However, games often feel unnecessarily slowing mouse response, and many believe that there is a hidden dead zone.
This was a bug, but it has been fixed in this week’s update. Of course, this doesn’t make Days Gone’s aiming and movement magically snappy, but it does provide better control. Read below for a complete change log.
- Fixed a camera issue when using a mouse.
- Fixed an issue with mice that seemed to have a “dead zone”.
Days Gone broke Steam’s best-selling charts several times, but eventually attracted about half of the players Horizon Zero Dawn managed at launch. This is reported by word of mouth and may be even over time, but it won’t be known until Sony announces the official number.
