Undertale is a 2D role-playing game of 2015. It is still one of the most authoritative and revolutionary indie games to add luster to contemporary scenes. Compared with other popular pixel art games (such as Stardew Valley and Terraria), it has risen To a similar height. Since the release of Undertale and the subsequent victory lap, developer Toby Fox has released the first chapter of his highly anticipated semi-sequel Deltarune. Deltarune is a top-down role-playing game that contains puzzles, bullet hell sequences and classic Final Fantasy-style turn-based battles.Chapter 1 was launched in 2018, and Fox unexpectedly announced the release date of Chapter 2 last night —— The game is down this week; tomorrow, in fact.
Fox posted a small trailer on Twitter with the title “I will see you soon”.You can see the protagonists Kris and Susie jumping into the deep abyss —— It is probably the “dark world” located in their seemingly ordinary school’s supply cabinet. Chapter 1 is about Chris and Susie stumbled in this ethereal realm and met a dark prince named Larssey. The three of them are destined to be heroes who restore the balance of the dark world. The ensuing battle drove the trio against monsters and the evil royal family. The end of the arc leaves room for explanation and sequel experience, so Chapter 2 has been around for a while. It remains to be seen what direction Fox will take in the upcoming release. Nevertheless, Undertale’s evocative soundtrack, evocative art and new combat system are still exciting highlights to look forward to.
Deltarune Chapter 2 will be available for PC and Mac at 8pm Eastern Time on September 17th.
