At the end of the week, the two main Team Fortress 2 modules were temporarily unavailable, and the creators of the TF2 Classic and Open Fortress modules said this was “due to an arrangement with Valve.” The Twitter posts from the official accounts of the two modules used the same quotation in their statements.
The two modules also indicated to their communities that this is a temporary interruption and there is no need to worry about it. Members of both teams posted posts on Discord servers to alleviate the fears of fans.
It is now speculated that both of these modules have obtained a dedicated Steam page, similar to what happened in popular projects such as Black Mesa in the past.
Either way, it is unlikely that Valve will actually be delisted. Valve has always been one of the most friendly companies to module makers and the entire module-making community, supporting and hiring module makers.
