Dying Light 2 will take 500 hours to ‘completely complete’ says Techland
technology park twitter account Said it would take “at least 500 hours” to “completely complete” Dying Light 2 to keep humans alive. Others, just play stories and side quests, However, should expect to spend “70-80” hours to do it all. I’m not going to lie, this is a vaguely threatening statement.
To fully complete Dying Light 2 Stay Human you will need at least 500 hours – almost as long as it takes to walk from Warsaw to Madrid! #DyingLight2 #stayhuman pic.twitter.com/Sk3KFpRJoAJanuary 8, 2022
The follow-up notes say it’s “about a 100% completion rate, and most players involved in the story and side quests will be able to finish the game faster.” That’s, I guess, a tease to some sort of collectible superstar-type gameplay, Or maybe just play the 500 hour achievement. Steal a shoe from every zombie in town, or what have you.
Of course, the reactions are varied. Die-hard fans of the first game have posted responses from the hundreds to thousands of hours they’ve spent in the game. Others just say thinking about 500 hours of gaming makes them tired.
In my case, I’ll say this: Techland says 534 hours is how long it takes to walk from Warsaw to Madrid. This compares to the 500 hours required to complete Dying Light 2. I’ll keep betting that I’ll probably walk more like, uh, a leisurely stroll down the Vistula River listening to flamenco.
