The Far Cry 6 Criptograma box is a peculiar little puzzle box, which is very demanding, but the delivery volume is relatively small.
You need two unique items to open each box, and it takes considerable effort to disperse all Criptograma boxes in Yara.
Far Cry 6 Criptograma Treasure Chest-How to unlock Criptograma Treasure Chest
Criptograma boxes require two Criptograma charts to unlock, and the charts are almost always close to the box. You will find the blue arrow, similar to the guerrilla path marker, leading you to the chart in most cases. A slight bell sounds when you are nearby, and the chart itself is usually fixed to a wall or tree.
Take the chart back to the Criptograma treasure chest, you can open them to get the contents inside. Whether it is worth the trouble depends on you.
Far Cry 6 Criptograma Treasure Box-Criptograma Treasure Box Rewards
Yara has 15 Criptograma treasure chests in its main area and 1 in Isla Santuario. Each contains a set of specific equipment, open them to get Hazmat MK II, Fuego MK II and Rioter MK II sets.
The Hazmat suit can improve the anti-virus ability, the Fuego helps protect against fire, and the Rioter equipment can slightly enhance your defense against armor-piercing projectiles. Of these three, you will encounter enemies using armor-piercing bullets more frequently, although soldiers using flamethrowers can quickly ruin any day.
They are a convenient collection of devices, but they are also fairly average. Unless you are fighting a specific type of enemy or want a “puzzling” achievement, you can ignore the ciphertext treasure box at will.
The Criptograma treasure chest is just one of the more puzzling elements of Far Cry 6. Finding industrial circuits and other rare materials (such as uranium ore) is a problem in itself, and the Rising Tide treasure hunt and finding every friend are very tricky enough to put any guerrilla in trouble.
