Final Fantasy XIV’s patch 6.1 trailer ravages its newfound adventure

Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker’s patch 6.1 is just two weeks away, and in a letter from the producers’ live demo today, Square Enix has revealed a trailer for what’s to come.

The footage shown in the new quests, raids, and other content titled “New Found Adventures” is refreshing, especially after spending the entire expansion saving the world and more from what has been building since Final Fantasy XIV began in 2010 After the threats. Now that those worries are over, it feels good to have some lighthearted adventures.

The trailer above shows Tatatru enjoying her break, and reveals that she’s been keeping an eye on her fellow Scions, who have done well in various endeavors since the Endwalker event. The new dungeons, bosses, and cutscenes have been teased throughout, giving us enough insight into the new content and story that FFXIV fans like me are pretty much begging to see more. Was that Y’shtola casually mentioning trying to find a way to the other fragments (various dimensions) of the source? Of course, the plan can’t go wrong.

A new main scenario questline will launch in 6.1, along with a side quest dedicated to Scion’s restorer, Tataru himself. The expansion’s first Alliance raid, Myths of the Kingdom, Part 1: Aglaia, will pit the Aether heroes against the gods. The patch will also include a new dungeon, a brand new PVP mode, expansions to the duty support system, harder difficulty modes for previous team encounters, and can view Full list added here. This is indeed a rich content addition that will likely set the stage for the game’s future narrative.

Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker’s Patch 6.1 “New Found Adventure” hits PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC on April 12.
