Five new Steam games you might have missed (September 27, 2021)
On average, more than a dozen new games are released on Steam every day. Although we think this is a good thing, it is understandably difficult to keep up. Unless you categorize every game released on Steam, the potentially exciting gems will surely get lost in a plethora of new gadgets. So this is exactly what we did. If there is nothing you like this week, we have collected a running list of the best PC games you can play right now and the 2021 games launched this year.
Fist fluff
Steam page
Release time: September 24th
Developer: Playfellow Studio
Sale Price: $20|£20|AU$31
This is a game about cats and friends (up to four locals, supporting remote games) or fighting against artificial intelligence. Fighting is all about stupid physics, and as much collateral damage as furniture and decorations, because it has to do with real cat beef. The environmental damage in the six arenas is very high, and you can obviously use the bakeware as a projectile-good. There are four game modes and many different cats to choose from, each of which can be customized with hats and costumes. There are too many dog-themed games recently: this is for cat lovers.
City State 2
Steam page
Release time: September 24
Developer: Andy Sztark
Sale price: $25|£20|AU$30
The original city-state was a fascinating city builder. It focused on politics as well as the regions on the map. In addition to looking more beautiful, this sequel seems to emphasize the political aspects of the original. “This game contains economic slang, a bunch of statistics, and describes political ideology in an arbitrary and subjective way,” the Steam page warns. This simulation game involves a lot of content, including unemployment management, immigration management, and more of 51 policies, as well as “204 different choices.” It may not be the kind of simulation game you want to play at the end of the day, but it looks like a fascinating sandbox.
Source of madness
Steam page
Release time: September 23
Developer: Carry Castle
Sale Price: $17|£14|AU$23.95
This is a cold side-scrolling action game that owes HP Lovecraft a debt, although Source of Madness is a rare game case and seems to take this inspiration seriously. You see, the monsters in this roguelike are generated procedurally, so you won’t just find a bunch of typical Cthulhu mythological beasts: you will see some Weird shitThe action itself looks smooth and interesting, giving people a dead cell with a Gothic background, and the world itself is also random, “presented in a beautiful artificial intelligence assisted artistic style.” “The Source of Crazy” is in the early access stage and will stay there for half a year. At the same time, the studio will add new storylines and more biomes.
If on a winter night, four travelers
Steam page
Release time: September 22
Developer: Dead Idle Games
Launch Price: Free
This is a point-and-click narrative adventure mainly set on a train return A masked ball. It happened in the 1920s, has a gorgeous isometric pixel art style, and will run for about three to four hours, depending on your game speed. Did I say this is a horror game? Not sure how, but this may be the point. The early comments were very positive, and if you happen to like this free game, you can easily pay the developer through the supporter pack on the Steam page.
Taruche
Steam page
Published: September 21
Developer: hiddenVisions
Sale Price: $5|£4|AU$7.50
Another dirty, pixelated, PS1 style horror game-has the inevitable fatigue begun? At least not to me, ToruTaru looks very charming. The first-person first-person horror game is set in an “artificial intelligence-generated” mansion. Your girlfriend has been imprisoned in this mansion for some reason. This is not good news, because its name is “The Manor That Is Eternally Tormented.” It might be a damn place! It looks like a split between panic and problem solving, and the collectible amulet serves as a roguelike-style game modifier. ToruTaru will stay in Early Access for up to two years, but the game is reportedly very interesting, just like it is now.
These games will be released between September 20-27, 2021. If you buy something through one of our links, some online stores will give us a small discount.Read our Franchise policy to know more information.
