Halo Infinite leak shows Forge with full scripting capabilities
When Forge first appeared in Halo 3, it was a simple matter to move the box in the current card. But according to recent leaks, the ancient editor of the Halo Infinite version comes with a very powerful scripting tool-turning the once simple map editor itself into a game production tool.
Appeared on Halo Infinite Leaks and News Twitter accounts earlier today (via Dexter), a series of tweets revealed that the node editing tool is more reminiscent of the Unreal Engine blueprint than anything we have seen before from Forge. Halo has always provided quite powerful custom game tools, but the content shown here can effectively allow you to create brand new games (within reason).

What we see here are quite flexible nodes for controlling players, objects, vehicles and items, timers, teleports and modes for tracking events, the drop-down menu shows more for managing victory status and some The option to trigger the event under the condition. In short, it is a complete scripting system and undoubtedly has unlimited potential to develop new versions of Halo.
Previous custom games always require slight changes to existing game modes, but Infinite is likely to open up space for the kind of crazy player-made games we see in Garry’s Mods and the like-hell, we again Saw a map that looked almost exactly the same as the game’s vast flat sandbox in the leak again, Flat grass.
Free shooting games rarely get module support. Although Forge does not open Infinite to third-party assets, I am happy to see that the community pushes the limits of Halo’s space of possibilities. Hell, it can even see players who made Battle Royale 343 insist that it will never bring Halo Infinite, regardless of the sound of the Halo multiplayer game.
PC Gamer has contacted Microsoft for comment and will update any responses. Unfortunately, we were unable to master these tools ourselves for some time: Infinite notoriously postponed the Forge and Cooperative campaign until mid-2022. If Forge promises to be so strong, then I am happy to let 343 take the time to make it the best I can do. But unfortunately, we have to wait so long to see how far the mod makers can really extend the unlimited toolbox.
