Halo Infinite’s multiplayer game unexpectedly appeared in the shadow of today’s Xbox 20th Anniversary live broadcast. Shortly after that, Halo’s official Twitter account announced that the first season of the multiplayer game will last until next year.
More specifically, Season 1: Heroes of Reach, this is a season based on Spartans and the characters in Halo: Reach, and will last until May 2022. This means that Season 1 is half a year long, which should give players enough time to unlock all levels of the Battle Pass. According to Xbox, doing so will bring you more than 100 rewards.
As you can see in the trailer above, some of these rewards include burning head effects, burning shoulder pads, new helmets, new Spartan armor skins, and more. Blue represents rare items, purple is more rare, and yellow represents legendary items.
As stated in today’s surprising multiplayer announcement, “All your battle pass progress, Spartan customizations, and store purchases will continue from the beta version to the full version of Halo Infinite.” Season 1 will include “Multi An in-game event with its own rewards and activities”, the first one is called Fracture: Tenrai. This fracture event will provide limited-time event passes, unique playlists and samurai-themed rewards, Starting next week.
The Halo Infinite event will be launched on December 8. The Halo Twitter account says, “This event will provide exclusive cosmetic rewards for your multiplayer Spartans.“The account also said Many people are expected to jump into Halo Infinite today Therefore, 343 Industries asks people to “please be patient while we resolve any issues on the first day.”If you do encounter problems, the team will ask you to support Halo supports Twitter accounts.
