Hello Neighbor 2 gets a December release date

The highly anticipated sequel to 2017’s “Hello Neighbor”, “Hello Neighbor 2,” finally has a release date and will hit theaters this December.

More specifically, the suburban horror game is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on December 6. Additionally, those who pre-order the game will receive immediate access to the beta that went live yesterday.

“As you may have noticed, there are currently two versions available for pre-order,” tinyBuild wrote in a post Steam Post. “Hello Neighbor 2 Standard Edition pre-orders will include the full game at launch [plus] Access the beta version immediately after completing your pre-order. Now for the deluxe edition, both editions will give you beta access, but of course, the deluxe edition comes with some really lovely extras. Namely, 3 brand new DLCs will be available at launch, with 5 days of early access to the game before the full release on December 6, 2022. ”

As for the beta now live, tinyBuild says it likes to “call it a packaged Hello Neighbor 2 beta experience” because while the game is still in development, this beta lets players experience what it’s like to visit Raven Brooks, Including location, inhabitants, etc. However, fans of some of the gameplay elements of the series might expect things like breakable windows and boxes not to be in the beta – but they will be in the final version. Plus, tinyBuild says the beta has “no spoilers.”

Other disclosures accompanying these announcements include new Hello Neighbor 2 merchandise, and a Lofi Neighborhood Radio stream for those pre-ordered.
