Horror game “Contempt” pushed to 2022

ContemptThe horror game inspired by HR Giger that is about to land on PC and Xbox Series X/S has been postponed to 2022.

Originally scheduled for release sometime this year, publisher Kepler Interactive included the 2022 date as part of its release plan In the press release Announcing its establishment.

The group is a joint venture of developers A44, Alpha Channel, Awaceb, Ebb Software, Shapefarm, Sloclap and Timberline, which benefited from a $120 million round of financing.

As mentioned in the press release, Ebb Software’s Scorn is now scheduled to be launched in 2022 along with other games from other developers in the group.

Scorn is an atmospheric first-person horror adventure game. The background is set in a nightmare universe and designed around the concept of “being thrown into this world”.

Here is more information about it:

“Isolated and lost in this fantastic world, you will explore different interconnected areas in a non-linear way. The disturbing environment is a character in itself. Each location contains its own theme, puzzles and characters. These are an indispensable part of creating a cohesive world. Throughout the game, you will open up new areas, acquire different skills, weapons, and various items, and try to understand what is presented to you.”

After the successful Kickstarter campaign, Scorn has been in development for some time and was officially announced for PC and Xbox Series X/S last year.
