I found a progress blocking error in Metroid Dread, but you can avoid it

Metroid Fear Players may encounter quite serious errors when playing the game. Nintendo issued a warning today, confirming that a patch is being developed to fix errors that may prevent players from progressing.

This error may occur at the end of the game. It usually causes it to crash and display the “software has been closed due to an error” error message. At the end of the game, if you destroy a door and the map marker of the same door is displayed on the map, the game will crash.

If this happens, you will not be able to continue playing, but there is a way to prevent it from happening and continue playing. After restarting the app, remove the door icon map marker before trying this part of the game.

Nintendo and the developer MercurySteam are currently developing a patch to solve this problem, which will be released at the end of October.

Metroid Fear has been one of the highest-rated games this year, and Metroid fans praised it as one of the best games in the series. In our review, Alex called it an exciting experience, which builds on and improves upon the previous foundation.
