Japan: Nintendo Switch series sold 67,164 units this week, Kirby still number one

The latest Japanese video game boxed software and hardware charts for the week of March 28, 2022 to April 3, 2022 have been published via sales tracker Famitsu. The best-selling hardware is again the Nintendo Switch series of systems, with 67,164 units sold this week. Sales of Sony’s PlayStation 5 console continue to rise as more stock reaches retail stores, and its lifetime sales in Japan now exceed 1.5 million. The best-selling physical game was Kirby and the Forgotten Land, with retail sales up 110,946 copies. This is Rising Sun’s best-selling video game and hardware.
