Japan: Nintendo Switch series sold close to 61K this week, Ring Fit Adventure returned to number one

The latest Japanese physical video game software and hardware sales chart comes from sales tracker Famitsu. The best-selling system this week is again the Nintendo Switch series system, with sales of 60,942 units, while the latest PlayStation and Xbox game consoles continue to face inventory issues. The top ten is almost entirely dominated by Nintendo Switch software. The best-selling game is Switch’s weird fitness game Ring Fit Adventure, which has now sold 2,804,231 units. Below are the best-selling software and hardware for the week from August 30, 2021 to September 5, 2021.
