Jedi Fallen Order 2 revealed by June, likely in late 2022 – report

It looks like everyone’s favorite newly-introduced Jedi apprentice Cal Kestis might be back in the foreground with his Stinger Mantis ship and his battered horde of followers. If new reports are to be believed, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 Preparations are underway for a pre-E3 presentation, likely to be released by the end of 2022.

This information comes from industry insider and chatterer Jeff Grubb, who started talking about an unannounced sequel giant bomb stream. Grubb believes that publisher EA and developer Respawn want to launch the game “in a significant way” before E3 kicks off this June.

This will give studios and publishers plenty of time to get the title hyped and in front of people before a possible release in late 2022.

It’s also not the first time we’ve heard of a sequel to the game. Back in late 2019, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order developer Respawn posted three job openings specifically for the Star Wars team, suggesting that work on the game has been going on for a long time.

It’s not surprising that we see a sequel to the game. The first title was well-received by critics and was a commercial success, selling over 10 million copies by 2020.

EA owns the rights to Star Wars console games until 2023, so publishers have a chance to invest in more Star Wars games before that contract expires – so even if Jedi Fallen Order 2 doesn’t land in 2022, you It can be expected before the contract expires.

At the time of writing, there’s no official word from EA or Respawn about the sequel, so, as always, take this information from the game with a grain of salt until you get official confirmation from the producers.
