Lego Builder’s Journey launches today on PlayStation consoles with new creative mode

Like an intricate set of LEGO bricks, the usable platforms for the LEGO Builder’s Journey have slowly been built, and now that the pieces are in place, the game is finally available on the PlayStation console.

As of today, PS5 and PS4 users can take on a variety of LEGO building challenges in this light-hearted puzzle game from Light Brick Studio. Compared to the previous-gen machine, the PlayStation 5 version has updated visuals, offering ray-tracing capabilities comparable to the Xbox Series X. New to the game is Creative Mode, which allows players to bring “the most imaginative builds” to life.According to a press release shared with game informer, a mode that lets players “create models and scenes from a set of carefully designed blocks, with an almost endless number of build boards to build.” Outside of Creative Mode, the game includes its original single-player puzzles nestled within a story of parents and children learning the importance of playing together.

Lego Builder’s Journey has run out of platforms and is now playable on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC and iOS. You can read our review of it here.
