LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is the largest launch in LEGO game history, selling 3.2 million copies

LEGO announces its latest game, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Sagahas sold more than 3.2 million copies.

The game was released on April 5 and hit that number within two weeks The biggest launch in the history of LEGO games.

In the game, you’ll play through all nine Skywalker movies, featuring the largest roster of LEGO Star Wars characters and vehicles to date. It features new combat mechanics, a collection of planets to explore, and you can choose to start at the beginning of any trilogy, including The Phantom Menace, A New Hope, or The Force Awakens.

Developed by TT Games with the Lucasfilm Games team and published by Warner Bros., The Skywalker Saga lets you travel around the galaxy using a map on a holographic projector. You’ll gradually unlock planets to explore, and during your space travel, you can meet enemy ships.

As you explore the galaxy, you’ll find Kyber bricks that unlock new abilities and upgrades for character classes including Jedi, Hero, Dark Side, Villain, Scavenger, Villain, Bounty Hunter, Astro-Mechanical Robot, and Protocol Robot.

You can play as Luke Skywalker, Rey, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Finn, BB-8, Leia, Yoda, Boba Fett, Darth Maul, Poe Dameron and more characters, and over 300 unlockable characters from all nine films.

In addition to the game’s extensive roster of playable characters, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Classic Character Packs were released on all platforms this week. The Rogue One Story Character Pack includes Jyn Erso, Bodhi Rook, Cassian Andor, K-2SO, Chirrut Imwe, Baze Malbu and Director Krennic.

The Classic Character Pack includes classic variants of Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Darth Vader and Lando Calrissian.

Both packs can be purchased individually or as part of the Character Collection (Season Pass), which includes all seven downloadable content packs featuring playable characters from the Star Wars galaxy.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
