Lenovo accidentally listed AMD RX 6500 XT
We often see rumors and leaks about the upcoming CPU and GPU. Some you have to add one or two grains of salt, but when the main OEM lists the name and specifications, it can be said with certainty that the product is real and will be launched soon. Lenovo did exactly this, listing some limited specifications and confirming the name of AMD’s upcoming entry-level RX 6500 XT graphics card.
In the list, captured by the screen @KOMACHI_ENSAKA pass through Graphics card Before it was removed, Lenovo confirmed that the card will only carry 4GB of GDDR6 memory. What is strange is that there are only two display connectors, consisting of a single HDMI 2.1 and DP 1.4. It also shows that the card supports 8K at 60Hz. However, do not try to play games at this resolution. Even the RTX 3090 can hardly do this.
We have already written about the 6500 XT and its younger brother RX 6400. Both are very entry-level products, not the cards you use to crush 120 frames at 120 frames per second in 4K. They will be able to play popular e-sports games at 1080p and can also use HTPC cards, depending on the capabilities of the onboard video engine.
The card is rumored to be based on Navi 24 GPU. Its 4GB RAM is expected to be connected via a disappointing 64-bit bus. On paper, it is a very ordinary memory subsystem, but it remains to be seen whether the infinite cache can offset such a weak configuration.

How to buy a graphics card: Tips for buying graphics cards in the barren silicon environment in 2021
Information such as clock speed and number of shaders has not yet been announced, but given our knowledge of the performance of the RX 6600, we are sure that it will not become a super performer. However, if the price is right, it may indeed be a very popular card. It is great to see that budget terminals in the market finally have some much-needed affordable options. Nvidia’s RTX 3050 Ti and Intel’s Arc series GPUs will join the RX 6500 XT in January at the earliest. We are likely to see announcements or teases at CES early next month. Bring competition!
