Lost Ark devs closely monitor server counts and queue times as more than 1 million people flock to game

Amazon announces it will cancel lost ark servers to allow new players to join servers they may not have been able to join before.

Speak in a forum post (Thanks, massively), server population and queue times are said to be being closely monitored, so role creation limits may come back as queues start to grow.

It’s worth noting, however, that the list of servers with account limits “may change frequently”, and you’ll have to restart your client to access servers with the new cap.

It is said that the goal is still to keep wait times low, hopefully this will help some players join their friends on more servers.

After a “deployment issue” caused a delay in things running, the server was bombarded with an influx of players when its doors finally opened to free players. For those looking to join an MMO, this resulted in a lot of queue time.

Speaking of influx, as of press time, There are 1,140,598 players in the game, which is an all-time high for the game. We expect this number to increase once server issues and queues are resolved.
