MiracleMidnight sun Developer Firaxis Games announced on Wednesday that the game has been postponed to the second half of 2022. This card-driven turn-based role-playing game was originally scheduled to be released in March.
“We decided to share that we made a very difficult decision to move our release window to the second half of 2022,” Marvel’s midnight sun‘The development team announced on Wednesday Via twitter“We know that many fans were expecting to participate in the game next spring. This decision was not taken lightly.”
Creative director Jake Solomon and senior franchise producer Garth DeAngelis said that Firaxis Games needs “more time to make this game the best game.” Firaxis said that the additional months of development will be used to “add more stories, movies and overall polish.”
Marvel’s midnight sun Firaxis’ XCOM development team announced the news on Gamescom 2021 in August. The game is set in an obscure supernatural part of the Marvel comics universe, bringing together a variety of superheroes. There are 13 heroes in the game, from teams such as the Avengers, X-Men and Fugitives. The player will control the hunter, who is described as a new character created by Marvel comics; the hunter’s appearance and combat can be customized. Solomon told Polygon in August that players will be able to choose from more than 40 superpowers.
When the game is released in the second half of 2022-no exact date has been given-it will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
