Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 may be taking some notes from another Disney-owned property and become a dark chapter in Insomniac’s network hanging story. In the latest short film Marvel this week Podcast, hosts Ryan Penagos and Lorraine Cink chat with Bill Rosemann, vice president of creative at Marvel Games. A few weeks ago, Rothman discussed some of his favorite moments from the Marvel game announcement at the Sony PlayStation Showcase.
While discussing Spider-Man 2, Rothman provided some details about what players can expect, but it still allows us to speculate on the key aspects of revealing the trailer for a longer period of time. He confirmed that there have been some changes in the two suits that Peter and Miles are wearing, and they will face multiple enemies. We know Venom, he was teased in the first Spider-Man and appeared in the trailer, but there was another mysterious voice before the symbiote appeared. We think it sounds like Hunter Craven. However, Rothman only confirmed that it was “the voice of the character in the game.”
The most exciting thing in the interview was the little information that Rothman casually revealed at the end of the interview: “If the first Spider-Man was Star wars, Spider-Man 2 is a bit like us empire. The color is a bit dark. “Peter Parker and Miles Morales certainly had adversity in their respective PlayStation adventures, but citing Empire Strikes Back There must be some connection with this sequel. How will the Spider-Man duo get rid of battles with Venom and unknown (probably Craven) enemies? After the credits are rolled, what will they, their loved ones, or New York City be in? We will have to wait a while to get these answers.
Marvel’s aggressive and grumpy variant Wolverine also has a game from Insomniac. Although Bill Rothman doesn’t have much to say right now, he gives some hints on what to look for in the reveal trailer. “You are behind Logan, his scene in the bar, there are Easter eggs everywhere,” Rothman said, claiming that Internet detectives have found some, but not all. He suggested to take a closer look at the cash register and the bar in the lens. Wolverine stretched out his paw to let fans find Rothman’s personal favorite Easter egg.
Both of Insomniac’s games have some way to go. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is scheduled to be released on PlayStation 5 in 2023, while Marvel’s Wolverine will be launched on an unknown date.Rothman suggested empire-Like the tone of the Spider-Man sequel, what is your prediction of what will happen next?
