Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be “darker” than previous games

Insomnia Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Will be “darker” than the studio’s Spider-Man and Miles Morales games.

This is according to Bill Roseman, Marvel Entertainment’s vice president of creative Marvel this week podcast.

Using the Star Wars analogy, Rothman compared the next entry in the series with the Empire Strikes Back.

“If the first Spider-Man game is Star Wars, Spider-Man 2 is our empire,” he said. “The color has darkened a bit.”

Considering that Venom will be the opponent in the second game, we can understand why it will be darker. However, Insomniac previously expressed the hope that this game will be “full of love and sense of humor,” so at least there will be something that can break some things.

The upcoming single-player adventure will continue the journey of Peter Parker and Miles Morales and bring a whole new story to the two.

In addition to a new story, when the game is released on PS5, you can expect new abilities, new suits and some interesting villains.

However, it will take some time for us to get access to this game, as it is currently scheduled to be released in 2023.
