Monster Hunter Rise finally landed on PC via Steam on January 12. This port takes advantage of its powerful new home, through numerous graphics and performance improvements, making it the best version of the best-selling Switch game.
Rise on PC has 4K resolution graphics, ultra-wide display options and unlimited frame rates. The gameplay is optimized for the mouse and keyboard, and even includes voice chat, making multiplayer games more social. The PC port is also bundled with all DLC, which will arrive in the Switch version before the end of November, which will include collaboration goodies, such as the upcoming Ghost’N Goblins event. Capcom also confirmed that the Sunbreak expansion pack will be launched on the PC and Switch versions of Rise next summer.
Don’t want to wait until January? Capcom announced that it will release a Steam demo of the game on October 13th, giving PC-centric Monster Hunter fans the opportunity to test drive Rise on their powerful gear. The demo includes online multiplayer and offline single player games, three hunting missions, access to all 14 weapon types, and tutorials for beginners.
