In the Nintendo Direct live broadcast on Thursday, Capcom announced that the first expansion pack of “Monster Hunter: Rise” is called Sunbreak and will be launched next summer. The announcement is obviously for the Nintendo Switch version, but follow-up actions Blog post Confirmed that the extension “will be launched on both Nintendo Switch and PC in the summer of 2022.”
This is interesting news, because since Capcom acknowledged the existence of Rise earlier this year, we have not heard much about the PC version of Rise. We still don’t know when it will come out, but Sunbreak hits both PC and Switch at the same time is a major change in the way Monster Hunter World works. The World Expansion Icefield landed on the PC four months after the game console was released, but PC players obviously don’t have to endure this kind of waiting.
Of course, apart from waiting for Rise itself. Is there any news about Capcom PC version?
