New Saints Row footage shows vehicles and combat

Game Informer released a new lens of the game Saint Street Restart focuses on vehicles and car battles. The gameplay depicts several different types of vehicles, including cars, dune buggies, and motorcycles, and the chaos they can cause. It should be noted that this is a pre-alpha lens, so the game may look rough in some places. Nevertheless, there is hope for things there.

This video shows the appearance of car battles, including actions such as car crashes and shooting. As far as open world games are concerned, everything is pretty standard, including the ability to shoot tires and real damage to the car. More novel is the ability to climb to the roof of the car while shooting at enemies around you while the driver is driving.

Perhaps more interesting is the environment shown in the process. You can provide the expected urban landscape for the Saints Row game, as well as the urban desert suburbs designed to simulate the southwestern United States. There is a sharp contrast between the crowded city and the extremely open suburbs. The video also shows police chases in two environments.

This preview shot is part of a series of messages and focuses on the restart announced live on the opening night of Gamescom. From what we have seen so far, this game is expected to be as stupid as the Saints Row game requires.

Saints Row will be released on February 25 and is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
