Which of the three new world factions should you choose? Once you reach a specific part of the main mission line, you will ask yourself this question early in Amazon’s new MMO. This decision can have a considerable impact on certain aspects of the game, so it’s important to know what to consider before you make a decision.
As you would expect from any self-respecting MMO, Aeternum has many things to do and many places to explore. It’s easy to get distracted when looking for marijuana or petals. However, if you don’t want to waste time in choosing a party, here is the information you need to know about the new world factions.
New World Faction: How to choose
There are three factions to choose from:
- marauders: An army that wants to build a free country in Atnham.
- Covenant: An organization of fanatics aimed at purifying the land of heretics.
- syndicate: A secret society that values intelligence and searches for hidden knowledge.
Although the factions themselves do not have any practical differences in gameplay, there are a few things you should consider before making a choice.
If you plan to play with friends, you should coordinate to make sure you all join the same faction. If you belong to a different faction, you can still participate in PvE content gatherings, but in terms of PvP siege and invasion, you will most likely end up fighting each other. Companies (guilds) are also related to factions, so if you follow one, you need to be in the same faction.
Factions also play an important role in occupying territory in Aeternum-the more land the faction controls, the stronger its members. This gives advantages for activities such as crafting or obtaining more loot from the enemy.
The main factions will vary on different servers, so it is worth checking the map to see which controls certain areas. It is good to support the weak, but in PvP, if you join the smallest faction, you may quickly get overwhelmed.
In other words, you can switch factions, but you need to wait 120 days Before you change.
