Nintendo 64 and Sega Genesis games are coming to Nintendo Switch Online soon [UPDATE]

The Nintendo Switch Online + expansion pack will be released later today. The single subscription price for the service is $49.99 per year, and the family plan is $79.99. The pricing for existing Switch Online subscribers has not yet been announced. This upgrade subscription will include all the following Nintendo 64 and Sega Genesis games and all existing Nintendo Switch Online services previously provided. Nintendo recently announced that the upcoming “Animal Crossing” paid expansion DLC “Happy House Paradise” will be included in the online + expansion pack service at no additional cost.

The company announced today in its recent Nintendo Direct live broadcast that you will soon be able to play a series of classic Nintendo 64 and Sega Genesis games on your Nintendo Switch through the platform’s online subscription service.
