Nintendo Direct Watch and Game Informer in September 2021

Just as the year is coming to an end and we think that all publishers have completed their 2021 announcements, Nintendo announced that they have another surprise waiting for us. The houses of Samus, Link, and Mario are back today with another patented Nintendo Direct, the company promised to provide a full 40-minute demo.

Just like any opportunity that Switch offers in the future, we will stream digital demos and chat in real time with the excellent GI community twitch! It starts directly at 5 pm Central Time in the US, but we will broadcast it 15 minutes in advance for a rehearsal full of predictions, hopes and dreams!

In the typical Nintendo way, the company only confirmed that we will get updates about upcoming games in the upcoming winter. With the launch of Metroid Dread in October, and Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl focusing on their own Direct, this keeps Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp on the 2021 list. Although it is completely unconfirmed, we have reason to see the last role of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and finally give Sakurai a beautiful man deserves the much-needed rest.

But what if we dare to see further? By 2022, maybe? It belongs to the same camp as the aforementioned Shenao Return, but Pokemon Legend: Arceus will be released on January 28, making it a fair game for today’s show. Another possibility is that we finally get official confirmation that the Game Boy game has finally landed on the Switch (this will fill my heart with joy).

The truth of the matter is that almost everything I write here may or may not appear later this afternoon. That is Nintendo. This is why we watched it together. Thank you for joining us today, and please be sure to say in the chat what you think will appear on today’s Nintendo Direct!
