PAX South has no scheduled events for 2021, but it has previously been confirmed that it will return in 2022.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, video game conferences did not perform particularly well. PAX last year was a 9-day non-stop online event, but PAX East failed to return in 2021 due to “ongoing public health issues”. PAX West continued in September, but on a much smaller scale than usual. PAX Australia has held online events for two consecutive years.
