Rainbow Six: Everything you need to know about new operators
Whether you like to go through walls and attack with all your strength, or like to hold corners and wait for an opportunity, we all agree that the various operators of Rainbow Six Siege keep the game incredibly competitive. Well, what better way to reverse the entire battle than a new defensive attacker?
Here is all the information you need to know about the new operator Osa, available in the Advanced Battle Pass for the Crystal Guard in Rainbow Six: Siege.
About Osa
Osa is an engineering prodigy from Croatia who fights alongside the Rainbow team. She is a mid-range, two-speed, two-armor attacker who focuses on providing teammates with a little defensive advantage when advancing into the room.
Osa’s abilities
When announcing new siege actors, the most likely question in everyone’s mind is “What can they do?” Osa’s abilities will change the strategy of many players. She has a transparent bulletproof shield called Talon-8. It can be placed in windows, doorways, or even in the middle of the floor to deal with many awkward face-to-face confrontations. When the shield is deployed, it breaks through obstacles, giving attackers a great opportunity to peek at corners, stare at long corridors, and control rooms.
Although Talon-8 is roughly the same size as the shield that defenders can use, Osa’s shield actually covers her head when carried. But, thankfully, there is a way for the opposing player to take down the shield! First, fighting the shield will break it enough to lose its transparency.
If you want to make the shield offline, like Mira’s “Black Mirror”, there is a pressurized tank at the bottom of the shield, which can be launched or blown up with C4 or grenades. Doing so will drop the shield, exposing everyone who uses it as a cover, just make sure you are ready to shoot, otherwise you will fall as quickly as a shield.
arms
basic: Osa can be equipped with the 556xi assault rifle, or the PDW9 submachine gun in her main slot.
secondary: The PMM pistol will be located in the auxiliary slot of Osa.
equipment: In the equipment slot, players can use clay bombs or smoke bombs.
If you want to continue to dominate in Rainbow Six: Siege, or you are a new player and want to know which operator is right for you, please unlock Osa in the Advanced Battle Pass, and you can start using Talon-8 to make defenses Experience their own medicine in Crystal Guardian of the New Season.
