Nintendo Live 2023 is a new way to celebrate Nintendo games and the world. Free events will offer a variety of different activities for attendees of all ages – even if you have no gaming experience at all – and there is something for everyone around every corner.

Nintendo Live 2023 will feature a variety of experiences and events in one space with distinct zones themed around various Nintendo games. Some of these activities include:

• Nintendo Switch Games: Nintendo Live 2023 will feature gameplay from a variety of games nintendo switch games, including The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Kirby and the Forgotten Lands, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Pikmin 4 and more. You can also test your Mario skills and take part in “Mario Dojo”, a fast and frantic challenge in three different Mario games over three rounds! There’s even a Nintendo Switch Online Classics Zone full of classic games that will make you feel like you’ve stepped straight into the 80s.
• Greetings: Nintendo Live 2023 will definitely not be short of superstars. Characters like Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Kirby, and familiar faces from the Animal Crossing: Friends games like Tom Nook, Isabelle, and KK Slider will be in attendance to meet and take photos with fans.
• Unforgettable photo opportunities: Want to take some unique photos? Nintendo Live 2023 will offer plenty of photo opportunities!From a walkthrough of the legendary Kirby and the Forgotten Land and Pikmin 4 sculptures to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Edition Murals and immersive experiences inspired by Animal Crossing: New Horizonsthere will be plenty of places to snap memorable photos and share them with friends and family on social media.
• Live stage: In addition to the separate areas, Nintendo Live 2023 will also feature a main stage where we hope to host live performances, including daily musical performances from the Super Mario and The Legend of Zelda franchises, as well as showcases of other entertainment.
• Game Tournament: Nintendo Live 2023 will feature some high-level tournaments for attendees to participate in or take part in as a spectator, as well as additional tournaments for fans of varying skill levels. Every day there is a different game:
  • September 1: On the first day of Nintendo Live 2023, the Super Smash Bros. Squad Strike tournament will be open to fans 13+ who want to showcase their versatility in a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate game.
  • September 2: The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe 2023 tournament will take place on September 2, offering a live last chance qualifier for those looking to compete on the big stage.
  • September 3: On September 3, the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate amiibo+me Exhibition 2023 will spotlight the next generation of fighters. Attendees ages 10-16 can train their amiibo fighters and take on other contestants and their amiibo fighters to see who wins.
  • September 4: Rounding out the competition is the Splatoon 3 2023 Championship, featuring the top qualifiers for the upcoming Splatoon 3 Championship 2023 Qualifiers on June 3-4 and June 10-11.
