In fact, we have described it as “a mess” and “train wreck” respectively, which made fans desire the original version, which was removed when the trilogy came out.Today these fans got some good news: Rockstar is Bring back the classic version.
“First of all, we sincerely apologize to everyone who has problems playing these games,” Rockstar wrote. “The Grand Theft Auto series — and the games that make up this iconic trilogy — are special to us, because we know they are so for fans all over the world. It has not given up on the remastered trilogy and promises to provide fixes and improvements in future updates. At the same time, however, the “classic version” of Grand Theft Auto 3, Vice City and San Andreas will return to the Rockstar store as a bundle. Even better, anyone who owns the GTA trilogy or buys it until June 30, 2022 will get the classic game for free.
The return of the original game is good news. Rockstar said that some fans were unhappy about the trilogy’s regretful state, which resulted in the trilogy’s developers being “harassed on social media.” “As we resolve these issues, we urge our community to maintain respectful and civilized discussions around this version.”
A Rockstar representative confirmed that the classic GTA trilogy bundle can only be obtained through the Rockstar launcher, not on Steam. Rockstar said that once the game is available again, it will release another update.
