Rockstar Games adds special equipment to GTA Online to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Grand Theft Auto 3
Rockstar Games announced Grand Theft Auto: Trilogy-The Definitive Edition Today, it contains remakes of GTA 3, Vice City and San Andreas. The company also announced that in order to celebrate the 20th anniversary of GTA 3, it will add commemorative equipment to Grand Theft Auto Online this fall.
Rockstar said that in the upcoming events in the GTA online mode this fall, players will be able to obtain and purchase special equipment, such as commemorative costumes and uniforms.
“As part of the ongoing activities in GTA Online, we will provide more detailed information on how to access this content in the coming weeks,” a Rockstar press release read. “This month’s GTA Online mode event will have some special surprises-including some unusual events that may occur in South San Andreas and its surrounding areas.”
It seems that Rockstar will begin to provide classic GTA fun through the GTA online mode before the ultimate version is released on modern game consoles and PCs.
Elsewhere in today’s GTA online news, Rockstar hinted at what will happen later this year.
“Later this year, get ready for an exciting new adventure in GTA Online, because some well-known contacts and familiar friends need your help to expand their’legitimate business’-more surprises will be announced soon.”
