Sawtooth Alliance 3 brings tactical RPG mercenary action to PC

Sawtooth Alliance has no numbered entries for more than 20 years, but with the upcoming release of Sawtooth Alliance 3, this situation will soon change. THQ Nordic announced this new franchise today on the occasion of the company’s 10th anniversary. The team leading this project is known for making games such as Tropico 5, Victor Vran and Surviving Mars, Haemimont Games.

The player will control a group of mercenaries to come to the land of Great Stone Grace to look for the missing. However, the task of mercenary is no easy task. Your character will have to sail through the area, meet the locals, and learn about Grand Shien and how you will ultimately affect it during your adventure. Conflicts are staged in turn-based tactical battles, and each mercenary in your squad brings their specific skills to the battle. Whether you want to play stealth, stabbing, or burning with a fork gun, there are many unique strategies to implement.

THQ Nordic originally invited Haemimont Games to handle a side project in the Jagged Alliance series. But as the relationship developed, the project became the first official sequel since 1999. With the establishment of the Jagged Alliance bloodline, the team is bringing back mercenaries like Len and Tex to join your team. Every mercenary, new or old, can upgrade and customize privileges, weapons and equipment.

Jagged Alliance 3 only announced its release on PC, but we have not yet known when fans of the series can expect it. Check out the other announcements displayed by THQ Nordic today, including Destroy All Mankind 2: Reexploration and Exile 2!
