SNK used the Tokyo Game Show as the perfect stage to show the next two fighters for next year’s King of Fighters XV. Newcomer Isla and returning combatant K’joined the list of 39 fighters to compete for the best player in the world.
As mentioned earlier, Isla is a graffiti artist, new to the world of the King of Fighters. She put her hands in her jacket pockets half of the time to fight and let her kicks do the talking, which is obviously too cool for the school. Of course, she will throw her fists when necessary, but Isla is also content to summon floating hands to attack opponents at close and long distances. Yes, it means she can raise her hand without exaggeration. Watch Isla in action in the game trailer below.
At the same time, K'(actually pronounced “Kay Dash”) is a fighter who can be traced back to the King of Fighters ’99. He is an enhanced human, fused with KOF protagonist Koji Kusana’s genes. Therefore, he is a dark version of the poster boy in the series and possesses the ability to manipulate flames. He is also a bastard. Watch him ignite his opponent in the trailer below.
“The King of Fighters XV” will be released on February 17th and is available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and PC.
