SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive and Nintendo 64 games are coming soon to “Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack”

It is official now. The Nintendo 64 game has been confirmed to be available to Nintendo Switch Online members. However, to your surprise, the SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive game will also be launched soon. There are also plans to provide special controllers for both. Nintendo Switch Online members are priced at $49.99 each. Both libraries will be part of the new “Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack” plan, which will be launched in late October. It includes all the features of the basic Nintendo Switch Online membership. Those members who already have existing memberships can change at any time as needed.

Nintendo’s 64-game starting lineup will have 9 games, including Super Mario 64, Dr. Mario 64, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Star Fox 64, Mario Kart 64, Mario Tennis and Yoshi’s Story . Upcoming games have also been exposed, including The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, Mario Golf, Pokemon Snap, F-Zero X, Kirby 64: Crystal Shard, Paper Mario and even Banjo-Kazui .

As for the Genesis/Mega Drive library, the starting lineup is even bigger. It includes Castlevania: Bloodline, Contra Hard Corps, Golden Axe, Gunstar Heroes, Phantasy Star IV, Shining Force, Shinobi III, Streets of Rage, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Eco the Dolphin, Dr. Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine and Ristar.
