Shin Megami Tensei V Special Edition released with new gameplay trailer

Shin Megami Tensei V hasn’t been released in a long time, and I finally found out that it will be released in November of this year. If you’re a fan who wants to make a little more money, Atlus has revealed a special edition pair for games that you can pre-order now.

First is the physical Standard Edition of the game. You can pre-order this now and receive your own steel book case. It still costs the standard $ 59.99, but Amazon, Best Buy, or GameStop (Disclaimer: GameStop is the parent company of Game Informer).

If you have a deeper pocket that matches the same deep dedication to this series, please delight in the Fall of Man Premium Edition. This large bundle returns to $ 119.99 and includes:

  • 6×11.5 inch print sling bag
  • Steel book case
  • Devil Handbook with over 100 pages
  • 2-disc soundtrack
  • Collectable box

To further stimulate the desire for goodness to defeat (or negotiate) the devil, Atlus has also released a new gameplay trailer.

Shin Megami Tensei V is held in Tokyo and begins when the protagonist detours on his way home because the murder scene is blocking the normal route. Along the way, they lose consciousness and wake up in an apocalyptic city version. After that, they are saved from being eaten up by the devil by a mysterious heroine. Together, they form Nahobino, who is neither human nor demon, and explores this new world in search of answers. The game was first announced in January 2017 and was announced along with the Switch itself. I spent years under the radar with minimal updates until I re-debuted on Nintendo Direct in July 2020.

Shin Megami Tensei V will be released exclusively for Switch on November 12th.

What do you think of these special editions? Is there anyone who can take the plunge into the fall of man bundle? Let us know in the comments!
