Spider-Man 2 announced in 2023

Following the great success of “Spider-Man” and “Spider-Man: Miles Morales”, Sony and Insomniac today announced the next work in the award-winning video game series: “Spider-Man 2” Coming out in 2023.

The trailer provided some serious teasing, but hardly provided specific information. Having said that, we have seen many nods to villains and conflicts in Spider-Man novels. We saw a very brief game sequence in which Miles uses his charged venom ability, and a separate action scene in which Peter battles with suits that seem to be inspired by the iron spider suits in the comics. At a particularly fascinating moment, which is sure to trigger a lot of speculation about the possibility of cooperative games, we see Peter and Miles working together to defeat the enemy.

There is also a voice-over of a person in the trailer. He seems to be looking for a challenge in the confrontation with the two Spider-Man heroes. According to the novel, the voice is likely to be the Hunter Craven.

Finally, in one of the biggest exposures in the video, the last scene shows a brief introduction to Venom, which is sure to cause various problems for webslingers.

“Spider-Man” (2018) and “Spider-Man: Miles Morales” are both blockbuster works by Sony and Insomniac, achieving critical and commercial success that are rarely seen in licensed game assets. In view of this, the announcement of “Spider-Man 2” is not unexpected, but this is undoubtedly good news. There is no doubt that this game is being built from the ground up to take advantage of the technical capabilities of the PlayStation 5, and Insomniac has proven itself very capable of squeezing juice from an already impressive machine.

The news came after Insomniac announced another Marvel property, as developers are now also preparing their views on everyone’s favorite paw mutant Wolverine.

We will pay close attention to the development of Spider-Man 2 and are very interested in the pre-release preparations.
