Splatoon 3 trailer shows new gameplay and unveils the mystery of mammals

A very interesting part of the Nintendo Direct demo last night was about Splatoon 3, Ended with a chat with “Squid Researcher” (producer Hisashi Nogami), who ranked third with his body. For Splatoon, this is very brand-specific.

Splatoon 3 retains the 4v4 action of the original game, in which two teams compete to cover the arena with paint. The game will introduce new main and special weapons, but the really interesting changes appear in the single player campaign.

Known as the return of mammals, this mode will explore why all mammals have disappeared from the world of the game, allowing you to encounter them for the first time. They are two cats.

Splatoon 3 takes place in the native Splatlands of Inklings, where the city of Splatsville is located. Splatlands is also home to other marine life such as octopuses and is described as a culturally rich place.

Squid researcher Hisashi Nogami ends this part by promising to release more updates on Nintendo Switch from now to sometime in 2022.
