It’s time to break out and clean up your arcade joystick and prepare for the 3v3 battle in the King of Fighters XV open beta weekend.
Beginning at 7pm Pacific Time tonight and continuing until 7am Pacific Time on November 22, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 users will have the opportunity to experience the 8 characters from the 39 final list firsthand. These characters will be released when they are released. Available. The main feature of this Beta version is to test online multiplayer games a few months before the game’s release. For the first time in history, KOF will adopt a rollback network code from the first day to improve the general online experience when connecting individuals from a long distance.
This KOFXV test will have online and offline modes, including a training option, giving players the opportunity to learn character attacks and studio combinations or strategies without having to figure them out in intense battles. There are five modes during the public beta: casual matches and room matches in the online part, allowing players to experience the match and lobby look, while offline fighters can look forward to the above training, battles and tutorials.
King of Fighters XV will allow you to form a team of three characters to fight one-on-one against a trio of other people’s choices. There is no tagging mechanism. If you lose a round, you will only be able to compete with subsequent team members, so the order in which you place your characters is important. The following is a list of roles available during testing this weekend:
- Iori Iori
- Kagura Chizuru
- Snow rice
In the “King of Fighters” story, each character belongs to a standardized team, but you can mix and match at will. SNK has released the PDF entry of the KOFXV beta version, you can View hereIt provides a basic summary of what is expected during testing and some problems that the developer has been aware of (such as sometimes throwing out how to make the match out of sync).
The King of Fighters XV is scheduled to be released on February 17, 2022. Although this weekend’s beta will only appear on PlayStation consoles, the final game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
